Keystone Recovery Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
Keystone Recovery is a private backup and recovery utility operated by the owner of the Keystone application.
Information accessed
Keystone Recovery uses the authorized Google account’s email address to confirm the intended owner account. It uses Google Drive access to upload, verify, retrieve, retain, and, when specifically authorized, delete Keystone recovery files and temporary qualification files.
Purpose of access
Google Drive access is used only for Keystone backup and recovery operations. Although Google grants Drive access at the account level, Keystone Recovery restricts its operations to the specifically configured Keystone Production Backups folder.
Storage and security
OAuth credentials are stored in protected Render secret storage. Backup files are transferred directly between Render and Google Drive. Operator-local computer storage is not used for backup staging.
Sharing
Keystone Recovery does not sell, advertise with, or share Google user data with third parties. Data is used only to operate the owner’s private backup and recovery workflow.
Retention and deletion
Recovery backups are retained according to the Keystone recovery policy. Temporary qualification files are deleted after successful verification. The owner may revoke access at any time through the Google Account security settings.
